v15.1.19 Patch (Exit WinBidPro, then Run this file, then click UnZip, then Close when done.)

Run this v15.1.19 update patch if you now have v15.1.14 or newer installed.
If your WinBidPro software is older than v15.1.14, you will need to first uninstall it and also a program called "VectorDraw Lite File Converter". You can do this from the Control Panel - Add or Remove Programs window. After you have uninstalled both of these things, you can install the full program above. (You do NOT have to uninstall your GDS v14 software!)

Step 2: Install a V15 Vendor Catalog

After installing the v15 software, you should install some vendor catalogs. All of the specific v15 catalogs have been configured with the latest pricing, parts, and details for the given manufacturer. The catalogs include the more popular systems, and entrances that each particular manufacturer offers.

The imported v14 catalogs have not been configured specifically for the v15 software, however, they do have a complete list of parts from that particular manufacturer.

The main differences between v14 and v15 catalogs are the door and entrance configurations. The v14 program included door information in each framing system. The v15 program separates the elevation frame systems from the doors and door frames. There are also many more part settings in the v15 software, so it is much more capable of dealing with more complication curtain/pressure wall systems.

The new WinBidPro software is very flexible, so it is easy to modify, delete, and add systems, doors, and door frames to any vendor catalog. It is always recommended that you learn how to configure framing systems and entrances in any catalog, as this is how you will unlock the true power of the WinBidPro software.

Miscellaneous Downloads

v15.1.18 Patch file (3.4MB). If for some reason the latest version won't work for you, run this patch file to go back to the .18 revision.

v15.1.14 Ghost Install file (71.8MB). If you have trouble with one of the Wise install files above, try running this file. You will want to install the latest patch version above after running this installation.

VectorDraw Converter MSI (14.2MB). If you your elevation drawings don't appear when you click the CAD link in the menu tree, you probably need to install this converter. Ryan

v15CAD.exe (10-29-09) This is a new version of the vbCAD file that comes with the WinBidPro software. If you installed the .14 update and your drawings don't open when you click the CAD link in the menu. Run this file, then click UnZip to update your CAD program. This should get the CAD tool working again.

Master.mdb - Save this file to your C:\WinBidPro folder if you have trouble opening v15 even after running the Repair Utility.

Location.mdb - Save this file to your C:\WinBidPro folder if you accidentally changed the Master.mdb location to the wrong file, and you can't open the program anymore.

Microsoft .NET 3.5 Setup - Run this file if you are having problems installing the latest WinBidPro software. You may be receiving a VectorDraw Framework error or a .NET error during the installation. This file will install the latest .NET framework on your computer, then you can try running the WinBidPro install file again.

COMCT332.OCX - If your "GDS Web" link is not working in your v15 program, the latest install file was missing this OCX file that is needed for the internal web browser. Save this file to your C:\Windows\System32 folder, then register the file using the following command in the "Run - Command Line": regsvr32 C:\Windows\System32\comct332.ocx
You should see a "Succeeded" message after you run this command, then the "GDS Web" link should work fine.

VDConverter.zip - Save this file to your C:\WinBidPro\VCAD folder if you don't see drawings in the VCAD program. If you have Windows Vista, right click on the Setup.exe and click "Run as Administrator" to go through the installation.

Key Install File - Run this file if you are having trouble getting your USB Dongle key to work on your computer. You can also save it to your C:\WinBidPro\Security folder if you like, and run it from there.

License BlankDLL File - If your license keeps needing to be reset, you may need this file. Click on this link and "Run" the file, then click the UnZip button. The BlankDLL file will extract to your WinBidPro folder and replace the existing file. Close the WinZip window when you are done.
